The lovely people from Bi’Bak research center in Berlin asked me to host a vinyl talk on Derdiyoklar. The most popular Turkish wedding duo of the 80s and beyond – the undisputed kings of Disko Folk. The talk was – due to the circumstances – transformed into a webcast video. But the outcome is such labor of love since Bi’Bakları added lyrics translations, subtitles and tons of graphic archival material. My friend Mohammad Poori took some pictures outside in the park.
